EFL emphasizes its commitment to compliance by engaging in best practices and implementing policies that align with international standards and regulations. We have many policies and mechanisms in place that monitor all aspects of operations, customer service, health, safety and human resources, which can be shared by the sustainability team upon request.
Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT)
EFL works in compliance with the Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism to protect the supply chain, identify security gaps and implement specific security measures and best practices. To ensure this, EFL’s worksite and supply chain security plans are regularly tested in line with the C-TPAT requirements for all United States shipments.
Ethical Trading Initiative (ETI)
As a member of the Ethical Trading Initiative (ETI), EFL adopted the ETI Base Code of Labor Practice (also based on ILO standards). This membership further ensures our engagement in ethical trade and facilitates the same for all our suppliers and business partners.
