EFL Project Logistics Delivers Renewable Energy to Sri Lanka’s Northern Islands
June 19, 2025

EFL Project Logistics in Sri Lanka is proud to support a landmark renewable energy initiative transforming the northern islands of Delft, Nainativu, and Analativu. Backed by a generous $10.995 million grant from the Government of India, this project marks a new chapter in sustainable development for remote communities.

The project introduces an advanced hybrid power system that combines solar, wind, and battery storage to replace the region’s long-standing reliance on diesel generators. It is a forward-thinking solution that addresses both environmental impact and energy security.

To make this vision a reality, EFL Project Logistics designed and executed a comprehensive end-to-end logistics model tailored for the unique challenges of island delivery. From managing the movement of delicate renewable energy infrastructure to navigating limited jetty access and fluctuating tidal conditions, every stage was handled with precision and care.

Our teams worked closely with international partners and local authorities to ensure the smooth coordination of marine transport, cargo handling, and on-site delivery. This project demonstrates how strategic logistics can be pivotal in enabling progress and unlocking sustainable outcomes.

The EFL Project Logistics initiative reinforces how specialized logistics services play a critical role in delivering essential infrastructure. This project contributes real benefits to underserved communities, supporting long-term sustainability goals and demonstrating what logistics can help achieve when aligned with purpose.
