Key Responsibilities:
- General support to the commercial department
- Lead generation and prospecting for business opportunities and new clients
- Maintenance of existing customer relationships
- Follow-up and creation of new quotations
- Attend sales and service meetings as required
- Support the Commercial department’s goals to achieve objectives
- Maintain the database of active and potential clients
- Provide instructions to the operations department on accepted rates
- Investigate and resolve customer issues when necessary
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills
- Intermediate/advanced proficiency in computer tools
- Knowledge and proper use of INCOTERM terminology
- Basic understanding of import/export logistics operations
- Numerical skills related to logistics management
- Results-oriented individual with goal-tracking capabilities
- Teamwork skills
