Key Responsibilities:

  • General support to the commercial department
  • Lead generation and prospecting for business opportunities and new clients
  • Maintenance of existing customer relationships
  • Follow-up and creation of new quotations
  • Attend sales and service meetings as required
  • Support the Commercial department’s goals to achieve objectives
  • Maintain the database of active and potential clients
  • Provide instructions to the operations department on accepted rates
  • Investigate and resolve customer issues when necessary

 

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills
  • Intermediate/advanced proficiency in computer tools
  • Knowledge and proper use of INCOTERM terminology
  • Basic understanding of import/export logistics operations
  • Numerical skills related to logistics management
  • Results-oriented individual with goal-tracking capabilities
  • Teamwork skills
