Key Responsibilities:
 

  • Assist in managing the financial operations of the business, including monitoring revenue, expenses, cash flow, and key financial metrics.
  • Support end-to-end accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate payments and collections.
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of all financial transactions within the company’s accounting system.
  • Assist the Finance Manager in recording, classifying, and reconciling daily and monthly overhead expenses.
  • Perform bank reconciliations to ensure alignment between accounting records and bank statements.
  • Monitor project-level financials, including expense tracking, revenue analysis, and profitability reporting.
  • Record and post journal entries accurately in the ERP system.
  • Collaborate with external auditors by preparing required statements, schedules, and supporting documentation during audits.
  • Provide analytical and administrative support to the IRC team in managing BI tools and data projects, including maintaining dataflows and dashboards.
  • Execute data extractions, transformations, and analyses to support both routine reporting and ad-hoc business needs.


Requirements:
 

  • Completed or currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Analysis from a recognized university.
    Partly qualified in CA, ACCA, or CIMA.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Previous experience in audit and ERP systems will be an added advantage.
  • Sound knowledge of accounting standards and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
