Key Responsibilities:
- Arrange pickup and transfer of cargo
- Make bookings with airlines
- Review shipment documents for accuracy and completeness
- Arrange cargo transportation via trucking services
- Prepare and issue client invoices.
- Update job costing in the system
- Send pre-alerts to clients and destination offices
- Track and trace shipments to ensure timely delivery
- Electronically file and maintain all shipment documents
- Ensure customer satisfaction by responding to all inquiries within the same business day
- Perform other related duties as required
Requirements:
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Strong working knowledge of CargoWise (essential)
- Ability to manage shipments end-to-end
- Primary responsibility for Air Freight Imports; secondary involvement in Air Exports (preferred but not mandatory)
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve issues promptly
- Excellent attention to detail with strong time-management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- CIFFA and Dangerous Goods certifications are an asset
- CIFFA and Dangerous Goods certifications are an asset
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in Air Import and/or Export operations
- Ability to work according to Eastern Time (EST) and report to the team based in Brampton, Canada
