Key Responsibilities:
- Support the preparation of month-end accounts for EFL Spain.
- Assist in internal and external audits, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Perform weekly Accounts Receivable follow-ups and support timely collections.
- Handle receivables disputes in coordination with relevant teams.
- Prepare and maintain weekly AR aging reports.
- Monitor new customer onboarding and support credit evaluations.
- Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Ensure timely Accounts Payable reconciliation and prepare AP aging reports.
- Process payments in CargoWise and coordinate with back-office and on-shore teams.
- Maintain clear communication between back-office and on-shore teams.
- Conduct weekly review calls and monitor progress on financial activities.
- Manage and maintain customer and vendor master data.
- Engage with cross-functional stakeholders to support financial operations.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support ad hoc projects.
Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Part qualification in CIMA, ACA, ACCA, or an equivalent professional qualification.
- 1 to 2 years of experience in accounting or finance.
- Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.
- Must be able to work from 11 AM to 9 PM.
