 Key Responsibilities:
 

  • Compile orders and instructions received from customers
  • Organize tasks to accomplish assigned work
  • Oversee and plan the operational logistics of the organization
  • Track and complete work orders in a timely manner
  • Monitor the movement of supplies and materials between departments
  • Prepare and submit operational and progress reports
  • Arrange for maintenance and repair work as required
  • Maintain work records and operational logs
  • Organize warehouse and work areas to ensure efficiency
  • Perform general office and administrative duties
  • Resolve work-related issues, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
  • Compile worksheets and specifications for customer orders
  • Coordinate activities with warehouse and production units
  • Monitor production progress and follow up on work orders
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries
  • Conduct performance reviews and coordinate, assign, and review work
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
  • Communicate with ships, aircraft, and other remote operations
  • Keep track of shipments and organize inventory records


Qualifications:
 

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in freight forwarding
  • Canadian International Freight Forwarders Association (CIFFA) certification is considered an asset
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
