Key Responsibilities:
- Accept and process shipment pre-alerts in accordance with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Create shipment jobs and accurately update Master Bills of Lading (MBL) and House Bills of Lading (HBL) in the system
- Upload and maintain shipment-related documentation within the operational systems
- Generate arrival notices, manifests, and shipment notifications, and distribute them to customers and relevant stakeholders
- Prepare and process import and export invoices for agents and customers, ensuring accuracy of rates against approved tariffs and supporting documents
- Perform operational finance activities, including cost posting, invoicing, overseas and local cost bookings, and creditor journal creation
- Maintain accurate operational records while ensuring compliance with company policies and quality standards
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with customers, overseas agents, and internal stakeholders
- Support continuous process improvement initiatives and contribute to achieving operational service levels
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or partly qualified professional qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or a related discipline
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with ERP or freight forwarding systems will be an added advantage
- Strong organisational, time management, and teamwork skills
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service
