 Key Responsibilities:
 

  •  Coordinate with internal stakeholders, overseas offices, agents, and customers to ensure smooth shipment execution and operational efficiency
  • Process and monitor shipment pre-alerts, ensuring all required information is complete, accurate, and shared with relevant teams on time
  • Create and maintain shipment jobs in CargoWise in accordance with customer requirements, SOPs, and company guidelines
  • Update and manage shipment documentation, including Master Bills of Lading (MBLs), House Bills of Lading (HBLs), invoices, and supporting documents
  • Perform Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) activities, including cost posting, invoicing, and job financial management
  • Provide operational support through the CargoWise platform, ensuring data accuracy and timely issue resolution
  • Prepare and submit regulatory filings, including ACI, AMS, ISF, eManifest, and other customs-related declarations as required
  • Liaise with customers, overseas agents, carriers, and internal teams to resolve operational queries and provide shipment updates
  • Ensure compliance with company SOPs, customer requirements, and international trade regulations
  • Maintain high standards of data accuracy, service quality, and operational excellence while meeting established KPIs and service level agreements (SLAs)
  • Work on a rotational roster including day shifts, night shifts, weekends, and public holidays based on operational requirements


Qualifications:
 

  • Partially or fully completed Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline
  • 2–3 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, supply chain operations, or a related field
  • Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Prior experience in freight forwarding, logistics operations, or handling CargoWise will be a distinct advantage
  • Proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
