 Key Responsibilities:
 

  • Develop and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and apps based on business requirements
  • Build semantic data models by defining relationships, measures, and hierarchies to support accurate reporting
  • Write DAX measures and use Power Query to prepare and transform data for reporting
  • Manage Power BI administration tasks and optimise report performance
  • Develop SQL and Python scripts to extract, transform, and analyse data using statistical techniques
  • Conduct data validation and quality assurance checks by verifying report figures against source data and identifying discrepancies
  • Engage with end users to support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and gather feedback during report delivery
  • Perform data analysis to investigate issues, identify root causes, and support business decision-making
  • Electronically file and maintain all shipment documents
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data and reporting requirements
  • Maintain clear documentation for reports, data models, and testing outcomes


Qualifications:
 

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analytics, or a related field
  • 1–3 years of experience in Business Intelligence and Analytics
  • Strong Power BI development skills
  • Good knowledge of DAX and Power Query (M) for data transformation and preparation
  • Good understanding of data modelling principles
  • Experience with SQL and/or Python scripting
  • Good understanding of statistics, including descriptive statistics, distributions, and data interpretation
  • CIFFA and Dangerous Goods certifications are an asset
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power Automate, SharePoint, and other Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent attention to detail, particularly in data validation and quality assurance

 

Added Advantage:
 

  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric and Azure Data tools
  • Basic familiarity with Azure Databricks, including notebook environments or data exploration
  • Experience using Git or GitHub for version control and CI/CD in BI or data projects
  • Knowledge of the logistics or supply chain industry
