Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain data pipelines that consolidate commercial, digital, and freight data into a centralised marketing intelligence dashboard, creating a single source of truth for the marketing research function
- Support the development of structured data models within the curated data layer by integrating CRM, trade lane, and digital analytics data
- Identify data quality issues across existing data sources and assist in designing automated validation checks to maintain data integrity
- Conduct structured competitive research by monitoring competitor marketing activities, content, and search visibility across EFL's key freight verticals
- Monitor market conditions across assigned trade lanes, including port disruptions, regulatory changes, and geopolitical developments, and prepare intelligence briefings for the content team
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or currently completing a degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Supply Chain, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field
- Programming experience in at least one language, with Python preferred for data manipulation and automation
- Fundamental understanding of databases and SQL, with the ability to write basic queries for data extraction, filtering, and aggregation
- Familiarity with data visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power Automate, SharePoint, and other Microsoft Office applications
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Excellent attention to detail, particularly in data validation and quality assurance
