Sustainability is deeply embedded in our operations and long-term vision. In 2024, we took meaningful steps to implement more sustainable practices across our global network, aligning our efforts with environmental and societal progress. Here’s a recap of the key milestones that defined this transformative year.
Advancing ESG and Data Management
This year, we upgraded our ESG practices with a new and advanced data management platform, enhancing how we track, analyze, and report sustainability data. Key accomplishments included:
- Completing a comprehensive GHG inventory verified by an independent third party.
- Achieving a baseline year assessment for the Science-Based Targets initiative (SBTi) target-setting process.
- Developing near-term emission reduction targets, now awaiting approval.
- Participating in globally recognized assessments such as Eco Vadis (pending results) and the CDP Assessment.

Industry Engagement
EFL Global took the stage at the first-ever Sri Lanka Climate Summit (May 7–9, 2024), as one of the event’s sponsors. This platform reinforced our role as a thought leader in sustainable business practices within the logistics sector.
As 2024 has come to an end, we reflect on a year of progress and partnerships that pave the way for a more sustainable future. These achievements reflect our continued dedication to driving meaningful change, both within the logistics industry and beyond. We look forward to building on this momentum in 2025 and beyond.
