EFL Hong Kong: Zero Hunger

Hong Kong is facing a poverty crisis, with housing costs on the rise and a population that continues to age. Bloomberg reported that 1 in 5 people living in the city are living in poverty, with little or no access to food or housing.

To ease the food deficit, EFL Hong Kong partnered with Project Pearls, a local NGO that improves the lives of poor children by giving them PEARLS: Peace, Education, Aspiration, Respect, Love and Smiles. This is done through provisions of nutrition, education and healthcare in these extreme poverty-stricken areas of the Hong Kong.
