EFL Pakistan: Reducing Inequalities

Throw Ball is a popular sport in Pakistan played by both men and women, but due to lack of funding, there is little opportunity to play, especially for women. In March 2019, EFL Pakistan set out to identify teams of both young men and women in the province of Sindh and sponsored the two teams to take part in a championship tournament.

Both teams were victorious at the National Throw Ball Championship and left as champions. A truly defining moment, EFL was able to support these young men and women by providing gear and transport to showcase their talent and dedication on the field.
