What is Over Dimensional Cargo?
Over Dimensional Cargo (ODC) is any item that exceeds one of more of the standard size criteria. These standard sizes vary by state or province. ODC generally exceeds 53' long, 13'6" tall, or 8'6" wide. ODC is often transported in flat racks and open tops. Think of it this way: If the cargo is longer than the loading deck of the vehicle transporting it, then its ODC.
